Matteo Nano

Hello, Matteo here! I was born in 1984 and grew up in Liguria in the beautiful Varazze, a small town that rises between the green slopes of Mount Beigua and the blue sea.

I understood that I wanted to discover the world ever since I got my first motorbike at 14 and started exploring the places around me far and wide. With these premises, the choice of university was a must and so I graduated in Geographical Sciences.

Always looking for new emotions over the years I have traveled in Europe, Asia, Africa and I crossed Latin America from Mexico to Bolivia however at a certain point I realized that I was missing something, I was losing sight of my magnificent land and so I've become passionate about the places around me again.

My great passion is landscape photography but I am also constantly looking for thrills so I also enjoy myself as a climber, speleologist and diver.

In 2022 I decided to transform this lifestyle into my job and became an environmental hiking guide.

I love feeling small in front of the majesty of nature.
