L'evento

EVENT DESCRIPTION : A few steps from the sea and near the peaks of the Ligurian watershed, there is a path that tastes of history: a border place since ancient times, a path trodden for a long time by merchants and their goods, a territory of trade and commerce. This is where the story that we will retrace and relive takes place: the production of ice on the mountains of the Genoese hinterland and its journey to the city. During the journey, however, we will also have the opportunity to discover other realities that have characterized this place in past centuries, such as the Pietra del Grano, a very important commercial exchange node between the coast and the overseas region, and the Termine della Tavola di Polcevera, a milestone on purpose by the Romans to put an end to the dispute of this region, characterized by borders, delimitations, borders but consequently also by passages, encounters and exchanges, a borderland with all its riches.
