Ring of rock engravings: walk suitable for families

Sunday 14 March we will take a journey through time, to discover the ancient traces left by the populations who lived in the Beigua mountains. A half-day excursion suitable for families, for those who love to walk through the uncontaminated woods and for those who want to discover what deep bonds the ancient peoples had with the nature that surrounded them.

The route will develop on the ring of rock engravings made by the Beigua Park, along which we will be able to observe the faithful reproductions of the rock engravings present in the area.

In step with the seasons, we will also have the opportunity to closely observe the Torbiera del Laione, a jewel of the Beigua Geopark for its precious biodiversity.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND LOGISTICS

Meeting: 09.30 at loc. Piampaludo, Sassello (SV)

Departure of the excursion: loc. Piampaludo, Sassello (SV)

Distance: 3.5 Km - Difference in altitude +/- 80 m - Duration: about 2.5 hours - Difficulty: E.

Difficulty: E - the route is feasible by anyone in normal physical condition equipped with adequate equipment.

Registration: registration is mandatory by 8.00 pm on Saturday 13 March.

Maximum number of participants: 20 people

Participation fee: € 10 per person - € 8 per person children 7 - 13 years - free from 0 to 6 years

The fee includes: the accompaniment of an environmental and hiking guide registered with AIGAE

Recommended equipment: hiking shoes or boots, layered breathable technical clothing, trekking poles, anorak, hat or bandana, good water supply (at least 1 liter). Packed lunch (possibility of buying a packed lunch at a local shop).

Mandatory safety equipment: CE approved protective masks (at least 2), EC approved hydroalcoholic gel
